INspire is a new programme to give pupils in Years 3 to 5 the opportunity to meet with inspirational people and get them thinking about future careers.  It showcases what opportunities are available locally, nationally and internationally.

INspire aims to raise the aspirations of young people and helps them to recognise the importance of learning and working to be the best that they can be.

It is taking place with four primary schools and 590 pupils in the Doncaster area including:

how to get involved

Employer encounters are key to the programme.  Therefore, we are looking for up to 12 volunteers for each school prepared to work closely with them and be role models to the pupils.  You can:

  • Set a challenge relating to your employer.
  • Get involved in a range of interactive career related activities.
  • Take part in volunteer and teacher networking opportunities.
  • Become a lead Champion for one of the schools and support with the programme implementation and development.
